Outside tire carrier inner brackets
I've been working on a little project, I made three set of inner brackets. I found out that all outer brackets are not the same but I was ably to make a jig to make upper and lower brackets that will fit any of my three sets of outers. I have a set reserved but I can make more if there is a demand, let me know what ya think.

Re: Outside tire carrier inner brackets
I think that is awesome. I like the outside tire carrier. Had one on a previous blazer. I have passed on several carriers because of no brackets. If I find one I will hit you up

Re: Outside tire carrier inner brackets
Very interesting. What were the differences? Hole placement? Frank

Re: Outside tire carrier inner brackets
Thanks Frank, The hole location are all the same but there are two different outer brackets, one for a carrier with a tire and one for a tire and jerry can, the one for the jerry can has a wider mounting area for the rack and it has a corner bent up too act as a limit stop.

Re: Outside tire carrier inner brackets
Nice work ! I've got the whole set up but haven't had the time to do the install but one question I've been wondering is what's the max size tire that could be used on a swing out ? Also I wanted to say thanks again for the info you provided awhile back on making sure I had all the pieces together before my purchase.

Re: Outside tire carrier inner brackets
You welcome, always glad to help. I not sure about the max tire size it will hold, I hope it will hold a 35" tire because that's what I'm going to run. I may have to add some support for the extra weight.

Re: Outside tire carrier inner brackets
Thanks for the information. I will dig out my brackets and see what I have. I think mine was for the tire and gas can. Frank
