77-87 steering gear box

I am looking to buy a gearbox from a 77-87 C10 that has the 3/4 inch 30 spline input shaft. Will buy just the shaft also if someone has one laying around. Will rebuild box if is leaky etc. Trying to not spend a bunch of money though. Thanks

Re: 77-87 steering gear box

It is south of Houston. Looking for a 77 or up if possible as they have the faster ratio from what I understand. I THINK that the 74 still has the 32 spline shaft also Thanks for the offer though!

Re: 77-87 steering gear box

No sweat. I have a guy coming up from Houston soon to pick up a bed; I can get it to Baytown for free if you need it. The steering linkage and all is still attached as well.

Re: 77-87 steering gear box

If you dont mind at all and if the purchaser of the bed doesn't mind that would be nice! I would sure appreciate it! I may put up another ad and see if anyone has the 77-87 one also after I glean some more info. Thanks again!

I hope he picks up the bed soon. It is still in my garage! When I know for sure he is coming, I will get his contact info for you.
