Re: Show us your SURVIVOR ENGINE pictures
Its strange that it has the offset air cleaner for power brakes, but no power brakes...I wonder if they just stuck on what was handy going down the assembly line...

Re: Show us your SURVIVOR ENGINE pictures
[QUOTE=RHGuyettejr;5681362]Pretty much stock, truck has 60k on it, and it is the orignal block, Had one header and one rotted manifold so I fixed that. It does have edelbrock intake/carb/aircleaner, but it was like that when I picked it up. [QUOTE]
What kind of contraption is that on the pass side of the engine, where an AC compressor would normally be? It looks to be a pump of some type. Was that for a plow? We don't see many of those in central Texas! |

I might as well put on a few truck engines from the Lambrecht Auction: ( 45 years of just sitting takes a toll, doesn't it ) . . . . |

I've noticed a whole crop of GMCs showing up in the other picture threads, nice to see. I like the looks of them better, and where I live there's hardly any GMC trucks. It's all Chevy, Ford and Dodge. |

Re: Show us your SURVIVOR ENGINE pictures
Here's my 67 with a 283. 42k miles, but I suspect it may off rolled over once. Either that or it was a hard fought 42k miles.
