Radiator hoses, 5.3 LS swap, with 4 row copper /brass radiator
The stock bottom fits, from the 2000 GMC, with 2 1/2" cut off the end....top hose lines up perfect, but with a size difference. The 2000 GMC top hose looks to be 1 5/16", where the top neck on the radiator looks to be 1 5/8" ? This crazy old man is tempted to get out the jar of Vaseline, & show it who is the boss! Any better options? Longhorn

I used a 4 core on my 6.0L....it was tough to get the mismatched hose ends to fit.....but you can show it who's boss and make it work.

Re: Radiator hoses, 5.3 LS swap, with 4 row copper /brass radiator
I took my radiator to a radiator shop and had them put the correct sizes on my radiator so I could use the 2005 suburban hoses that came with my engine. I would never have an issue finding hoses that way either. I was having him install the steam port anyway. I think everything was less than $100?

I have this same set up on mine, spray the inside of the hose with silicone and it will slip right on.

Re: Radiator hoses, 5.3 LS swap, with 4 row copper /brass radiator
Thanks guys, I did spray it with wd-40, & showed it who was the boss! I still need a steam port, & have seen couplers , that will fit the ticket. Should I run a steam valve, on top as well as the fitting, off the steam line? Longhorn
