Reverse switch for SM465
Does anyone know where I can find a reverse light switch for my 1970 1/2 ton pick up with a Mucie SM465 4 speed tranny? I can't find one anywhere in the So. cal area.

LMC carries the reverse switch, I just got one for my SM465 and it fit perfectly.

Thanks again allons & geezer#99 for the turn on to LMC, I sent away for my switch on Wednesday, received it in today's mail, put it on & now I have back up lights for the first time in five years! One more question, where can I get a new gear shift leaver for my SM365, I snapped mine off a few years ago. I found 3 trucks at the salvage yard with 4 speeds & took home all 3 shifters for $5.00 each, one was out of an old ice cream truck and it's about 3 1/2 feet long it sticks up over my dash and has a bleeding eyeball with an upside down cross sticking out of it for a shift knob. People always want to buy it, I have been offered up to $250 for it! I would like to buy a new shifter for it if anyone knows of where I could get one.

I believe the SM465 is out of production, and I have never heard of new shift levers being available for them. I could be wrong! I would suggest that you use one of the 3 you were able to find. There is a thread on this site on how to do a restoration of the ball and pins. It's a very easy and quick restore.
