Re: Looking for a good repair manual.
I work for a dealership service department, and am sold on factory manuals.
This looks like the OEM manual from 1987

Re: Looking for a good repair manual.
You can buy the factory service manual on CD for pretty cheap. They're all over ebay.

Re: Looking for a good repair manual.
Original manuals are so much better than those new ones at the parts store that are about 50 pages long the old ones are like 5000 pages of good info...

Re: Looking for a good repair manual.
I found two different manuals:
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...765&cc=1300835 and: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...007&cc=1300835 Which one is better? what are the differences? Thank you.

Re: Looking for a good repair manual.
Hi,
I'm looking for a manual for a '78 C-10 Big 10 Pickup. I want the real factory repair manual. After doing some research, I noticed several factory manuals including... - service manual - shop manual (green) - unit repair manual (red) - Body, chassis, and electric manual (green) What's the best one to start with? |

Re: Looking for a good repair manual.
I have that same factory service manual for my 1986 K10. Very comprehensive, large font and easy to understand. 10X better then the haynes, chiltons and the like. Although I like those to. I am a firm believer you can never have too much information.
