Re: Project '86

Some one with skill such as your self must see alot of trash on vehicles...

You must from time to time just see stuff that you cant even fault them for, but just give them a nod and say "A for effort" haha

Re: Project '86

Got bored this afternoon and was itching to make something. Decided to fancy up the core support.

Gonna clean it all up and weld it in later this week.

Re: Project '86

I missed somewhere that you changed the inner fender wells on the ft fenders. I am glad I caught that I was about to make the mistake of putting the single fenders in. Did they rub?

I installed them before I decided to do the body drop so they were too low afterward.

Since I had to redo them anyway I decided to change it up and go with the tandem axle trailer fender instead.

Wow great work. From that 91 to that 72 and everything else in between. I am sure I missed something along the way buried in the many pages. Top notch.

Nicely done ...

Also .... the shops got to be better than the old overhang & outdoors!! I've watched for a while.

Great progress.

The shop is definitely an improvement. I didn't even have an overhang, I just had the outdoors

Re: Project '86

That's right ... the overhang was for the doorway into your crib.

KUDOS my friend & great job so far on both.

Ahh.... Us Texas guys must have all used the same shop builder. Blue ceiling & green/grey floors prob huh? I guess some guys might have opted for the brown floor but I never considered it (not much into brown).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
