Nice day for a ride

Nice cool day here in NY, took the 58 out for a nice ride around town and snapped this photo. Looks like a photo from a 58 sales brochure

We should start a string of '2013 seasons-end drives pix'... Your photo is great, too! Here was mine...

Re: Nice day for a ride

My photography isn't as nice as yours but I went out for a drive today. 20 degrees outside, no heater, and the window down for my hand turn signals. I bought some new couches and being cheap I refused to pay the $100 delivery fee so I made two trips to get couches from the furniture store.

It warms the heart to see a truck doing what it was made for!

Thanks. I knew some of you guys would love to see the old truck hauling. I used it to hail yard waste last week and since its my only pickup it also makes occasional runs to Home Depot. I always have someone to talk to when I'm loading in the parking lot. Even when I get it all painted up I still plan to haul with it, maybe not sticks and rocks but the occasional load carefully packed.
