Best 60-66 pickup static drop options

A buddy of mine just picked up a 66 chevy c-10 swb 2wd single cab fleetside pickup. It has a fairly decent base but were looking to lower it substantially, say 3-5 drop with just a static drop would be his goal. Here are its specifics

Truck/trailing arm rear suspension
A-arm front end
Power steering
Power brakes (looking for a big brake conversion not high end though)
V-8 700r4 combo
5 or 6 lug possibly (depending on wheel options)
18-20" staggered wheels (no width yet)
DO NOT want to cut up the bed

Simply looking for the best drop kits, spindles, springs, shocks the works.
She's a blank slate so were just trying to map it out right now.

Believe he used them on his 69 c10 ten years ago was just curious how well their earlier pickup kits were glad to hear they're still a top contender. Will definitely look into them thanks brother

Under the sheetmetal, his old 69 & 'new' 66 are basically the same deal as far as suspensions are concerned.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Pretty much I'm happy about that. These trucks really are a walk in the park just looking for personal experience with drop spindles and big disc brake setups

Re: Best 60-66 pickup static drop options

ECE is a great choice for drop components....although we don't sell them, we hear nothing but good things. We do sell the McGaughys which are a great product as well, at a good price.

For a affordable brake kit, we just came out with a 14" system

Let us know if we can help you out at all.
