The reason all the neighbor hood kids wanna ride in "Big Blue" is cause its a chevy! LOL! Bring them up right! HAHAHAHA!!! Nice truck! My next project is gonna be a 4X4. In my experience a better Alternator to get would be an internally regulated one wire alternator. Wire it straight to the battery and you'll have no issue. Here is a picture of mine....

That would be sweet but my wife would kill me if I spend another dime on my "mistress." I went down to the shop that I purchased my alternator from and ran a test on it and showed it was not working. Took it off, brought it back and it was fried, which the shop said it was from a bad regulator or battery, but the shop replaced it for free! The shop is called Action alternator and generator, if any Utah board members need a replacement part, they were very helpful.
