2WD Blazer body mounts

Looking to replace my Radiator support mounts as well as position #1 and #2 on my 1979 2wd blazer. After some internet searching best ive come up with was through LMC. Total ends up being about $180 shipped for the radiator mount kit and the first two positions. Everywhere else Ive looked at has been for 4wd models...Any idea where I can find some that will work for me...I dont need the last two positions cause i built my frame and just wont need the two rearmost positions right now. Any info will be appreciated.

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

If you only need the fronts, wouldn't you be able to just buy 79 2wd C-10 mounts. Rock auto has a poly mount kit for like $83

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

Not sure if there the same. That's kinda why I asked cause I'm not sure if they use the same type or not? I'm sure the radiator mount is the same but not sure about the cab positions

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

This has come up a couple of times, seems like someone used the 4x4 mounts without issue. I'll search and see if I can find that thread.

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

My blazer was a 4wd and when I changed my core support I used two decent bushings off a 2wd c10 at the pull apart. Everything seems to line up fine.

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

Nice, the more I look around and compare them they look pretty similar i think imma go ahead and go with the poly ones for 4x4's and see how they work.

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

I think I paid less than $150 for a full set of body mounts for my blazer on ebay and they are the Energy Suspension poly mounts.. Might want to look there..

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

Ya I looked on eBay. Found a set for like $80 but decided to go with the classic parts ones cause with the December discount code they ended up being like $70 for full set and was able to get other goddies I needed anyways while I was ordering so it worked out.

So the info is out there if needed... the 78-80 bushing are the same for 2wd and 4wd blazers.

Re: 2WD Blazer body mounts

Coolio. If they are the same for 78-80, it's reasonable to expect them to be the same between 2wd and 4x4 73-87. Thanks for the follow up.
