Problems putting newer body on '76 K5

I was wondering if there would be any issues putting a newer ('87+) k5 body on a '76 k5 frame.
This will be a 4x4 body onto a 2wd frame if that makes a difference.
I am aware of the difference in the hump being taller for the 4x4.
I am most concerned with the floor of the '76 going all the way to the front seat before it drops, vs. the '87+ dropping just after the front of the rear seat. Are there differences' in the frame that might interfere with the newer style body?

I plan on running the '76 nose and understand I will have to work on the frame horns to mount the front bumper, but what about the rear bumper?

I plan on running the newer interior; will the newer column have any issues mating to the steering box?

CamaroChris is doing something similar here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=606127

Supposedly the frames are the same but I do not know if any body mounts moved when the rear seat got a footwell in '78.

Thanks for the link.

I read that one befroe, but he ended up scrapping the 2wd frame he had because it had issues. He is now converting a 4x4.
