Re: Build Sheet/ Spid sheet ??
You won't find a SPID on the glove box, as 1966 was the first year for that. My Fremont built trucks had build sheets tucked into the seat back, seat bottom, or both.

Re: Build Sheet/ Spid sheet ??
What will the build sheet tell you versus the service parts identification placard? Thanks.

Re: Build Sheet/ Spid sheet ??
The build sheet will give you the RPO codes for how the truck was ordered from the dealer, as well as when it was assembled. Engine, transmission and differential codes. Wheel and tire combinations etc.

Re: Build Sheet/ Spid sheet ??
Well I went digging around after reading this post, and sure enough, I found my build sheet. It wasnt between the seat springs, but rather between the gas tank and the tank cover folded up. Pretty cool! Back story, the truck in question was my grandfather's 72 C10 and he bought it in 76 or so from the first owner. I just recently inherited it. Pretty neat!
