Hey man I used www.stockinteriors.com I got the truck carpet for the front and it covers from under the dash to where the plywood floor starts. I also ordered carpet by the yard and covered the rear..Great prices an quick shipping..

Ditto on stockinteriors.com . Great selection on material and colors. They custom made mine with a lot of extra material hanging out of the mold so I had enough to cover back to the plywood area. Then ordered a roll of the same material to cover the whole flat plywood floor. A heat gun will get the small areas that need to be reshaped, like the RH door step.

This is a great lead, but they don't show fit before 67? How did you get the earlier set up?

I had the local Auto carpet shop do mine back in the 90's. full floor, rear wheel wells, door bottoms, and kick panels-$500 total. I recently pulled all of it out, as I'm restoring it in memory of my dad, but kept all the pieces, so I can use them as "templates" when I have it done again. The hardest part, was re-installing the seat mounting plates in the carpet. When it was done, it looked factory. I'll try to get some pics of it on here soon.

Quick question here I'm sure has been asked, and I apologize for asking again. For my '62 2WD Panel would I just order the carpet for a '60-'66 C10 2WD Pickup? I know the Burban carpets cover all the back area, but I have wood floors and don't want carpet back there. I can't find a site that specifically states it fits the panel. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, if your gonna use stockinteriors just call and order the one for the 62 pickup and let them know its for a panel so they can leave extra on the back side so that you can trim it to fit the area that you need covered.

So I tried to order a carpet for my burb from stock interiors with extra material and was told I couldn't Don't know if he really checked into it or just said it was N.A. Has any one order one and what sales person you used ? Thanks Gary

On the topic - I have another carpet question. I'm just now putting in a carpet kit, using the pickup kit and will add to it as have others.

I am putting in the Acoustishield kit and it looks pretty good. Dynamat and heatshield will improve the limo ride! BTW Quietride actually has suburban listings!


My question is if there is a trick to running holes through the carpet for screws and bolts? There are seats, belts, gas pedal, and shift boot holes to deal with. The last time I tried to drill through a carpet I hooked a thread and caused a run across the carpet in no time.

I used an ice pick first then an old phillips screwdriver I ground to a very sharp point. Then screwed the seatbelt bolt through the hole without any problems. I also did the same with the rear seat floor brackets.

I got mine from auto custom carpets www.accmats.com. They sell additional material by the yard. After the fact I saw that you can order some mass applied to the carpet in production.

I am still pretty happy with the http://www.quietride.com/ kit, although it is a little skimpy on the Dynamat. I just added more. See in process photo.

Put all of the screws and bolts in place before laying the carpet. Once you have the carpet in place use a razor blade to cut over each bolt and screw. It's much easier to find the bolt sticking up than the holes.
