Re: whats it worth at a quick glance?

Definitely a '66. What would your plans be for it if you got it? It would take a ton of time/money to make it a reliable driver. The engine running is about the least of the things to think about, you can get a good small block for $300 and change it out in a day. Rewiring, rust repair, bushings, brakes etc. all add up really fast.

X2 on the cost of getting road ready. Gas tank, rebuilding carb, window regulators, radiator, front end , brakes, new tires, motor, transmission . Getting title and tag up to date in Oklahoma over $200 if out several years.. It all adds up. Plan on another $1500-2500 to get driving good and safe. Before paint and body work.

Re: whats it worth at a quick glance?

Looks like a great truck, but you really need to get inside and under it to see the extent of the rust. if you look at the front, the front right headlight is low, which means the radiator core support is rusted out below the battery, possibly cab support on that side too which may be making the cab sag. I would go $1200 and spend the extra $300 on patch panels Looks promising, just be aware how much work it is to replace things underneath the cab that are rusted out if you havent experienced that. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'd say it's a strong $750 bottom to $1000 truck. The overall body seems to photograph well and not look that bad. I'd bet that an hour at a pressure car wash and some scrubbing and it would be a whole different truck.
It could be a 65 also, my gmc had backup lites. I would spend the $1500 and have a nice project truck. You may luck out and the engine runs....
Good Luck

Plans would be to clean it up as best I can in hopes of it looking half decent and just getting it on the road and slowly fix it up while I enjoy driving it.

Re: whats it worth at a quick glance?

Like Rich 5150 69 said, the only deal breaker for me would b a rusty roof. Other than that its a BBW, SWB truck and would be in my drive way for $1500. I would definitely offer less first. As far as the Wife is concerned, you know the old saying its better to apologize than ask permission!

I decided to pass on the truck, there was so much work and money to be spent. I ended up buying a 2000 Silverado with a reported thrown rod for 500 bucks. I believe the only thing wrong is a cracked flywheel....score....
