69-72 Blazer rear seat

Did any of the 69-72 Blazer rear seats fold down, or were they all fixed back?

Re: 69-72 Blazer rear seat

They were all fixed back as far as I know, and I've owned seven of them. A friend of a friend of mine built one with a "fold and roll" on a stock rear seat, I believe he used parts from later model k-5s, This was back in the 1990's.

All fixed. Later model seats fold. I have heard of guys talking about modifying the stock seat to it folds, but I'd be afraid it wouldn't hold. I've never seen anyone actually modify it yet.

Re: 69-72 Blazer rear seat

I picked up a '78 folding seat off the parts board. Very similar looking to the fixed seat and I think, with the correct fabric, look close to OE.

Re: 69-72 Blazer rear seat

Thanks for the info. Saved me from buying a second generation seat.

Re: 69-72 Blazer rear seat

I've just found out hickey made a convention for a tuck and roll seat. I'm waiting on a guy to post pics of his but he gave a link to the catalog page and it is listed.
