64 Front Suspension Question

Looking at putting disk brakes on the front of 64 c10. Will the 73-87 spindle bolt to 64 ball joints? What would it take to put the newer spindles and brakes on, without swapping the whole crossmember?

Re: 64 Front Suspension Question

63-70 conversion spindles are what you need.
Direct bolt on.
NO NEED to use 71-72 or 73-87 spindles any more!

Re: 64 Front Suspension Question

I should have mentioned also switching to 5x5 bolt pattern. Looks like all the conversion spindles come with 6 lug disks.

Just buy the spindles.
Then buy 71-87 hd (1.25" wide) 5x5 rotors, calipers and bearings at your local parts store.

There is alot of crazy info being spread about disc brake conversions.
Inform yourself before you buy.
