Bucket seat truck owners help please.
I have an early 76 build Silverado w/ factory bucket seat option. I need help solving my seat belt trouble- badly cracked and torn seat belt sleeves. What are my options here? Are repo sleeves available anywhere, or do I just find another GM model to get them from? Thanks for any ideas.

This is what I have in mine. I think you can get the ones out of a burb or blazer. Mine were tan and I dyed them black.

Re: Bucket seat truck owners help please.
I bought all the parts from a wrecked 81-82 reg cab with bucket seats but I've been told that blazer and suburban's with front buckets have the same receptacles.

Re: Bucket seat truck owners help please.
That dark blue is a very common color in 88-91 Suburbans....you should find them in any boneyard...bucket seat Burbans are pretty common and blue being the most common interior color as well as grey. And, there are two style-laydown and stand-up inner bucket receptacles..., but get the stand-up ones-this way, you dont have to mess with "finding" the seatbelt-it is right at seat height.

Re: Bucket seat truck owners help please.
As you can see....the stand-up style inners don't bolt to the angled part of the pickup floor-they bolt down on the flat section. Once bolted down, as long as the plastic base isn't cracked-they should stand up and position themselves right at the lower seat cushion-this is a pic of my 86 K-10 with 1990 Suburban buckets, console and seatbelts installed. See how theinners just sneak right up to the seat? This makes it easy to just sit and buckle. |

I just happen to have that exact engine in my possession. Came out of a 90 or 91 C30. Has somewhere around 6x,xxx original miles on it with a 400 2wd trans.
