1966 Horn Button Question
Can anyone tell me what this horn button is from? I have a 1966 Chevy with this steering wheel and horn button. Apparently this is not the correct button for a 1966. Thanks for your help, David.

Re: 1966 Horn Button Question
I believe it's a '62-'65 Chevy II, Nova & Chevelle button.

Re: 1966 Horn Button Question
That's the same horn button as the one on my '66. It's completely stock.

Re: 1966 Horn Button Question
Thanks guys! Does anyone know where I can buy a new one. All the catalogues show the one with the bow tie and you are right, I won't fit down into the cup in the steering wheel. Thanks again for your help.

Re: 1966 Horn Button Question
I happily stand corrected! Be interesting to see if this button was used only in '66 on Chevy trucks? Or if other years in the 60-66 truck range used them as well?
Not sure if they are available as a reproduction but here is one on Ebay, not mine. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-HOR...d322e8&vxp=mtr |

Re: 1966 Horn Button Question
If outside chrome is good, like mine was, I taped off top chrome and sides and glass beaded inside and painted it silver,as a driver I like it

Re: 1966 Horn Button Question
I have seen pictures of 1966 trucks with both horn buttons. Mine appears on pictures of C10 Customs, however mine doesn't have the chrome trim on the top pillars with the word custom on it. So i appear to have a basic C10 with a custom steering wheel and horn button. I saw a picture of one just like mine, basic heater, basic instrument cluster, 3 on the tree, etc. with the same steering wheel and horn and the custom chrome on the top pillar. Does anyone else have the same setup as mine or is mine a "Heinz 57"? BTW, mine is an original black truck, if that matters. Thank you all so much for your help.
