Wink Re: LS1 air intake for a 67-72

Here is mine. 90's caddy air box sealed up and drilled 4" hole in the bottom. Took and drilled a 4" hole in the radiator support placed a coupling in the front with a ninty with another coupling in the air box. K&N filter then ran to TB.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

That eby one is a good buy even if you use a K&N filter later.
I don't know how good of a filter the red one is compared with others on the market

Thanks, but I didn't build that part. I bought it from board member JoeLutz. He sells them on his website, http://www.hotroddynamics.com/shop/v...p?productid=30.

I built something similar for mine, but dimple died it the opposite direction. Cost me a little less than $115 I will admit I got the idea from JoeLutz' deal.

LOL, I'm sure it was cheaper. I need to buy a set of the dimple dies. Where did you get yours from?

Frees up space under the hood for the boost maker, and frees up room in the back for coolers
