Simple Question - Reverse Light Housing
Is there a trick to remove the wiring from the reverse light housing?
I've spun it around and pulled on it with no luck, I don't want to ruin anything. Thanks for any direction… ![]()

It has to come out through the front but I don't remember if there is a trick to it or not. I will be removing a couple of the assy's tomorrow and I will take a look if you don't get a reply before then. LockDoc

Re: Simple Question - Reverse Light Housing
Push it out the front just did it a couple of weeks ago. Are you having a lighting problem? The housing has to ground to work.

I'm not having any lighting problems, just unpluging the wiring for a bed removal down the road. I will mess with it tonight and you keep you posted, but thinking about it, I'm not sure how I would get the housing off the truck if I pushed the wire though the front? If that any makes sense.

There is a connector down inside the wire channel. You just unplug it. You don't have to take the bucket apart. LockDoc

I would have never found that booger, you can't really see it, let alone disconnect it from under the truck and when I pulled the housing out, I wasn't looking in that window behind the brake light assembly. Thank you! Here are a couple pictures for future searches: ![]() ![]()

I already owe Leon at least a six-
pack...or maybe a fifth of bourbon, depending on his preference.... |
