Widest tire you can run in the rear?

What's the widest tire that you can run in the rear? Truck will be bagged and not a parallel 4 link (nothing on the outside of the frame near the tires)

Touring? I think, just regular street tires, thinking about running the hr99 from coddingtons, they have a 20" x 15".

A 20x15 will only have limited tire selection (Mickey T Sportsman S/R Radials) so that's basically a pro-street radial & not really touring. Michelin makes a wide sticky Z-speed rated touring tire but I would guess the wheel width is usually the 12.5-13" width.

Mickey T's 18" wide version fits the 15" wheel & has 29" & 31" height options. That wide of a combo fitting between the outer bedside skin & OE rail placement will depend on how low it sits. The better option is a 20x12 or 13" wide. They'll have room to spare after modifying the tubs.

Didn't think of tires! haha thanks! but I was thinking that it would most likely end up being a 12, thank you for the info!

For the record.... A true, sticky (300 or less treadware rating), pro-touring tire that fits a 20x13" wide wheel (meaning fits correctly/not stretched) is not going to be cheap (4-500 bucks) each. Tires that fit the 12" wheels are more available w/higher treadware ratings for cheaper prices.

But.... Cheap tires are just that.... Use them just because they have something cheap that fits (or close to fitting) & you're building a 'cruiser' (not necessarily a 'touring' ride).
