1980 c-10 fuel tank woes

My fuse keeps blowing so I can only run the passanger side tank. This fuse is also connected to my horn. I can help but wonder if that is the problem as my horn rarely works properly before the fuse blows out.

Looking for any bit of help. I've changed out the switch and the tank solenoid.

I believe the dome light is on that circuit too. Pull up the carpet sill plate by the door and inspect the orange wire that runs through there for bare spots. More than one person has had this problem.

Awesome I'll check this out soon. I guessed I couldn't be the only one with this problem

Did this get resolved? Curious on the result.

I'm currently working out of town so I haven't had a chance to try. I'll be home at the end of the month and will be sure to update you. Thanks for asking

Well, I finally have an update. The line was fine I discovered it wasa faulty horn button. Since I have replaced it and so far no problems thanks very much for the help.
