Replacing bushings...whats recommended

I want to replace all the front end bushings on my '73 K20 4x4 cause they are pretty much worn out. I dont want to have a rough ride and I heard that the Poly can do that. Should I go with stock rubber or replace with poly and if so, which brand is best?

Re: Replacing bushings...whats recommended

i did the polly myself. not rough at all. a few of my friends have done it and nothing has been said about a rougher ride. i think thats just an old stigma. thtas on the control arms. im going to replace the cab bushings with polly because my stiff clutch will lift the cab. i expect a less "luxury" ride after that. i have all energy suspension bushings up front
