Hi guys, I figured someone on here might be able to let me know what the estimated cost of fixing cab corners, and fender repairs might run? This is the first thing I want to have done to my truck, but I don't have any experience with welding.

Sorry if this is a reoccuring question on here, I tried a simple search, and didn't see a match. Thanks in advance.

Also it depends on how much you will do yourself and how much you will need to have done. You say that your not much on welding so I assume that you plan on having it done?

The first thing that I would recommend if you plan on having it done, is check your local body/hotrod shops to see what kind of work they do and make sure that you inspect the kind of work they do. There is nothing more expensive than a cheap body man. I'm in the same boat as I cant weld, so much of the rust repairs I'm having done at a local hotrod shop. Now I have known the guy for years and I can attest to the quality of work he does. He tends to be a little higher than the local body repair shops in town but the quality of work MORE than makes up for it. I had two major dents taken out of the sides and it cost me $1450. Worth every penny in my book.

it also depends on how much you want done. Patched? Primed? Finished(paint)? How much of the prep/finish work are you going to do on your own, or all you going to have it all done? All are factors

I varies a lot in the part of the country you are in. Also look for some one who does old cars and knows how to fix them.

I did the ruff work and filled seams with bed sides stripped down to bare metal cost $2000 for bed. But worth the time and money knowing there is only minimal top coat filler.

It also varies as to how you want it to look when your done.

I fix a rotted cab corner on my truck with sheet metal, rivets and a little bondo and time and then repainted with a rattle can.

It's not show quality, but it looks pretty good at 10ft.
And its all I wanted for my old beater.

But then again I am just poor folk and I would be afraid to drive a truck with a expensive paint and body work in city traffic.
