Re: Truck names
Nice truck, and I agree with our vehicles needing to be referred to as woman.

Re: Truck names
I'm kinda partial to the "older" names. Like Gertrude, Bertha, Wilma(not Flinstone), Harriet, etc. I don't name any vehicle a guys name, but the one's on here are pretty cool.
I had an old, beat up 68 Nova for my first car. She was "The Turd" when I first got her because of the paint color. Then, after I primered her, my friends started calling her the Gray Ghost, which I changed to Mona, since ghosts moan. I dunno, now that I've typed it out, I feel kinda retarded! LOL!

Re: Truck names
I usually refer to them by their color. Whitey, Black B!tch, Brownie, Green Machine, The Great Pumpkin, Gray and Proud...well, you get the idea.

Re: Truck names
I named my 1971 c10 Jake after John Wayne's character in the movie Big Jake. I drove it for several years after a close encounter with an almost new dodge truck that had to be hauled away...

Re: Truck names
Abigail. The green one. Appeasing yet she is a tough truck both good and bad. Then most of us can think of a lot of other names that follow after something breaks........ lol

Re: Truck names
This is the name of my off topic Daily Driver, the only vehicle I've ever named, Ranger is CHEF. Truthfully, it named itself.

Re: Truck names
I made a negative comment earlier in this thread about naming vehicles. I'm changing my way of thinking to be more positive. Naming your truck or car CAN give it some personality. Now I need to think of one for mine.
