New (Old) Steering Wheel

Haven't had alot of time to tinker with my old trucks lately but now that I'm back, I wanted to install my new/old wheel.

picked up an 'A-Dapter kit' and she's all buttoned up now. Really happy with the way she turned out. Had to play around with the adjustment so that the horn worked on both sides but that was it.

Sorry for the crappy cell-phone pic.

It looks good in there. What's that wheel out of?

Re: New (Old) Steering Wheel

It reminds me of the early corvair monza wheel. What diameter is it? I might put one in my truck.

66 Deluxe wheel shortened down to 14". I added the center bowtie sticker in the middle.

"A-Dapter kit", haha. The line from one of my favorite Johnny Cash songs, One Piece At A Time.
BTW, that looks amazing. I have an extra old steering wheel, no-deluxe version, that I am going to attempt to shrink, but that's a long ways down the list. If I get results that aren't embarassing, I'll be happy. Yours is drool-worthy.

Yeah Earl, one of my favorites as well. That's how you gotta get these trucks going; one piece at a time!
