Rear suspension

I just put a flip kit on my 87 R10, and now the truck has a more noticeable lean on the drivers side. I want to replace the rear leaves with stock style new ones, but having a hard time finding them. My truck isn't a heavy half, and including the thick helper it has 4 leaves. Can anyone tell me where to find some. Or do y'all think I am missing a leaf? The truck sat pretty much level front to back before I lowered it

I've noticed that most of these truck have the lean to one side of the other. My right side was lower before and after the flip (more noticeable lowered). Try swapping your leaf springs from side to side. I did and it made my truck sit more level. The frames on these trucks are pretty flimsy and can get a little twisted up over the years. Swapping sides could make it better, or at least identify if you have a weak pack. Just an idea.

3 leaves and a helper is the light duty pack.

I can look at the pack and see that it's a weak set lol. Does anyone sell a light duty pack? All I can find are 5 packs

Yes. Dayton part number 22525 (3+1) rated at 1290 lbs. per spring pack. Rock auto only has 1 on hand. Your local parts store might be able to get it for you.

You can also call a spring shop in your area, they may stock a set.

I went to the local spring shop and ordered a set..2hours later they called me and said they found a set on the shelf. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
As for the lean, wait a while after any changes to the suspension. Things seem to take a while to settle in.

Take the springs to a spring shop and have them rearch them to what you want. That way you will have the springs at an equal arch. I did that on my 91 truck. The cost was not that bad and it worked great.

How long does it usually take to have them rearched?

If it is a good shop, you can take them in and about two hours later, take them home.
