Will my stock cross member work?

I'm going to go with a TH 350 trans in my '65 chevy PU. I've got a stroker 383 coming from Engine factory to go in front of it. The trans that was in it was a 2 speed power glide. Will the stock trans cross member with the stock E-brake setup work with this trans? I realize I may need to move it forwards or backwards to work but, my main concern is, will the TH 350 work with the stock cross member with the stock E-brake? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Will my stock cross member work?

I won't have to move it front or back and, the stock E-brake will not have to be modified? It's the setup that has the e-brake mounted on top of the crossmember. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks for your help.

Re: Will my stock cross member work?

If this is what you have? If so, yes, it will work with the powerglide, th350 and th400. I'm sure the 200r4 and 700r4 will work also.
