66 automatic column pictures needed
I need some pictures of the bottom of a tube assembly of a factory automatic column (power-glide or turbo-hydromatic) where the shift lever butts up to the clamping ring. A couple side shots and a front shot would be most helpful.
What I am trying to see is if there is supposed to be a space in between the lever and the clamping ring and if so what that spacing is. In this picture there is some space between the clamping ring and the base of the shift lever. I have checked my assembly manual and shop manuals and cannot find anything on this. Thanks, John Last edited by Johns66; 07-22-2014 at 09:37 PM. Reason: Typo in title |

Re: 66 automatic column pictures needed
That I can tell nothing had been removed. I disassembled because the end of the tube was all rusted up at the detent and lever. The spring compresses by hand now so I will start reassembly.
Thanks for looking. |
