My Craig's find of the week

Not affiliated with it but thought someone might be interested could be a basket case but no way to know for sure without looking and it's priced pretty reasonable if it's not too hacked up: http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/4567687255.html

Re: My Craig's find of the week

I wonder how that would look if you stretched the frame enough to put a Cameo bed on it?

It would be worth the asking price if the workmanship was up to par on what has been done.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: My Craig's find of the week

That's what I figured too. I'm more of a 4x4 big lift and tires kinda guy or I'd go check it out.
Not to mention I'm already on the hunt for a 71-72 Cheyenne k20, which will be my next project.

Re: My Craig's find of the week

To me the proportions of the truck look wrong. Its tough to pull off an extended cab, IMHO it should be just enough to benefit from but not draw your attention first thing. Its almost asking for a door section and lengthen but that would be a whole ton of door.

Re: My Craig's find of the week

I'm with sqrints ... proportions are off in the bed area. Needs a long bed to actually look right (IMO). Cameo "might" do it but it too is a short bed so the same thing would probably happen.
