brake booster?

I'm dropping the front of my 66 and adding disc brakes. I was told I need a brake booster. I purchased one but the holes don't match up with the factor master cylinder.
1. Do I need the brake booster?
2. if I do need the booster do you have suggestions on how to mount booster to firewall?

Thanks!

Re: brake booster?

You can't use the factory single output master cylinder when installing discs on front.

Re: brake booster?

I purchased the drop spindle and disc brake conversion kit from ECC. Can I use that master cylinder and prop valve w/out the booster?

The brake booster is optional. I'm running manual disk brakes. The important thin is that you have the correct master cylinder for your application. IE.....disk/disk, disk/drum, drum/drum
