LS1 stand alone harness expert needed
Hy all
after i blew up my old smallblock i decided to go with modern setup...sofinally i got a LS1 out of a CAmaro z28 of 1999. The engine has only around 60000 miles on it.... So far the hard work is done ...the engine / transmission is sitting in the 51 pickup.. The next step is to strip the harness... i found a lot of information in the net, so i just have some last questions , as u can find in the attached file. Hope u will find a second for me Thanks a lot for help CU Achim |

Yes, on all accounts. Now this is assuming you will not try and have traction control or emissions.

Re: LS1 stand alone harness expert needed
Looks like you prettty much have it, but double check here. Its for a 5.3, but they are real similar to a 99 LS1 http://lt1swap.com/99-02_vortec_pcm.htm

Yes, you can remove the TPS to TCS wires, and also yes on the pink wires , they are ignition power.General rule of thumb is pink is ignition power and orange are constant power.
