oil pan question

I'm getting close to dropping the drivetrain in my 82 swb c10 i don't have a build thread but this thread has pics of the ol girl http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=647285. My question is about the oil pans and clearance with a drop kit. I've read a lot of oil pan threads but for whatever reason and maybe I'm just a bit slow, but I haven't had much luck finding info on anyone using the gm performance pan like this here http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-PERFORMAN...-/151449238243 I read in this thread- http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=272174 that the cts-v pan should work and thought about that one but this build was 67-72 frame and I don't know if it'd be different or not so I thought I'd ask here on the forum, I usually try to search the info first and just haven't had much luck so far, I need to order a pan in the AM seeing as how I'm running a 4/6 drop and have the truck pan, I have the motor out and would rather swap it while it's out and breathe easy when driving instead of worry about every bump. Anyhow any and all help would be appreciated.

I used the GM Performance pan kit on my 82 GMC and its lowered 4" in the front. No issues so far.

The GM "hot rod" pan is the sometimes called the "swap" pan or the "lh8" pan, I've used it as well. With about 6-7" of drop, I have plenty of clearance, but the pan does hang about 1/4" past the crossmember....however it does so at an angle, so when the truck bottoms out it actually never touches the pan.

Cadillac CTS-V pan. You can find it on eBay for less than $200 shipped and it includeds the pan, windage tray pickup tube and diptstick.

My '67 is on bags and when completely defalted, the front crossmember is about 3/4" off the ground but the oil pan is still about 1.5" off the ground.

I used the ctsv pan on my 85 c10. The pan sits right above the crossmember no clearance issue what so ever, 5/7 drop.
