Dome light?

My 77 didn't come with a dome light. Is it possible to add one? My main concern is running the wiring to the light. Thanks in advance.

Re: Dome light?

Fish the wire up there with a coat hanger or something. I used a piece of solder taped to the end of the wire harness to fish it up there. Actually, if I remember correctly I had to start at the top where the light goes and fish the solder down. Then I taped it to the wire harness and pulled it up. It was kind of a pain, but it can be done.

Re: Dome light?

Member here Texas firefighter showed a trick to blow a string in the a pillar, then pull the wire.
Works for roof markers too.
