triangulated 4 link installed

I was originally going to do a parallel 4 link but decided to do a triangulated so I didn't have to mess with a watts link or panhard. I Built a cross member with a tunnel for the drive shaft out of 3/16" wall square tubing and wwelded it inside the frame rails and reinforced it with additional tubing on top of the frame rails.

Re: triangulated 4 link installed

No. I just got the top bars completely welded in after setting the pinion angle. I used the front leaf sing perch for the lower bars then went stright back to the axle.

Re: triangulated 4 link installed

VERY interested in results as I was thinking something like this for my truck in the future. I got the idea from looking at a big box truck one day. It seemed to have half a leaf spring going to the front leaf perch and then air bags under the axle. Nothing in the rear. Must have had some type of track bar but I didn't see one.
More pics are definitely necessary. Curiosity is peaking.

Re: triangulated 4 link installed

Sorry I forgot about pics. I started disassembly already but this is the passenger side link bar and how it's mounted

Re: triangulated 4 link installed

Here are a couple of pics of a triangulated link. This is on my Ranger.. On my Blazer we are going to go with more of a wishbone link but it does the same thing, it keeps the axle centered.
