Aftermarket grill support panel compatibility Chevy/GMC?

I have a 66 GMC and the grill support panel is in rough shape--will the Chevy repop work? Thanks!

the grille support panel will work, you will have to fill the chevy grille mount holes, and put your own gmc holes. the upper outside holes will be the same.
the inside dual headlight is a little close (the plug) on a gmc grille on a chevy support, however I put a gmc grille on my chevy, and it works fine.
the support itself will bolt on with no mods needed.

60-62 had a different support (no frame notches) , so make sure you get a 63-66.

Thanks! If the ends are the same then worst case I can cut the center sections out of my GMC part and weld them on to the repop.

How much are the repops because I can sell you a good OEM one for 160 shipped and it will fit.

Heres some pics, as is normal it will need some blocking on the top where the hood closes.

Thanks LT1 Burb - the new grill support looks great. The patina even matches, maybe even too nice

I'm wishing I had found more rust free parts like this, nothing fits like the General.
