drop spindle capabilities.

Hello out there.
I really enjoy reading all they great forums for repairs and projects.
I get some great information and ideas from all you out here.
I have a project of my own on the way and would like some info on the front spindles.
First off My truck is a 1980 GMC 2wd 3/4 crew cab very very clean start only 80 thousand km with not rust what so ever.
I have shortened it for my short box now I am about to order a drop kit for it.
I am only going 4 Front 5 Back.
Bell tech has a kit 967ND for a 1 ton truck.I cant find one for my 3/4 ton.
I am with the understanding that the front spindles are the same between the two trucks.I don't have a 1 ton dually to compare the two was hoping someone here would know if this kit will work for my truck.
Thanks for any help you can provide and I will try and post some pics.

Re: drop spindle capabilities.

When you get into suspension the 3/4 and 1 ton should be the same. The main difference between the 2 should be the drive train for towing capabilities.

Re: drop spindle capabilities.

Use C30 drop spindles, and calipers. C20 use different calipers, but both use hr same rotor.

Use all your stock brakes. They are expensive though.

Airbaggit/AIM/Chassis Tech makes a shackle and hanger kit. I normally wouldn't recommend their stuff but the kit I have looks fine.
