Hood won't stay open
Like the title says, I can't keep it open. I replaced the hood springs, thinking that was the issue. However, it seems to fall faster now. I bought them from Classic Industries, if that matters. I'm open to suggestions, or helpful hints. It's on my '57 by the way.

Re: Hood won't stay open
Hi Ogre,
These are the ones I got, http://www.classicindustries.com/pro...ts/cx1248.html The underside has only been painted. There's nothing else on the underside. rick |

Re: Hood won't stay open
I had the same problem and tried the same solution and got the same result. I put the original springs back on. I posted on another forum about this (link below) and someone suggested new hinges, but I have not tried that yet.
