Re: How rare is this ?

They're around. Not too many, but they do show up. Seems to be a love it or hate it thing. Do a search for "Smash Hit" grill guards.

Re: How rare is this ?

I think that the second car that H.Ford built may be called rare.

Re: How rare is this ?

Back where I grew up (Dakota's), That was called a cattle guard. In the summers I would help out on the Uncles dairy farms. Milking time was always 5:00 am and pm. The long days of summer the cattle couldn't tell time so us kids jumped in the pickemup trucks and headed down to the pasture to fetch the cows. Some were stubborn, so you gave them a nudge with the front bumper.
Hence the word's Cattle guard.

there are a couple smash hits hanging in the showroom at bowtie bits, I think they were priced at like 275? maybe 375.

Re: How rare is this ?

Definitely a love-it-or-hate-it on those things. I don't understand the infatuation, but to each his own.
