Re: Custom console needed.
Nothing out there that is an aftermarket piece. You would have to build one.

From what I understand the Hickey is being reproduced but the Con-Ferr with the seat back is not being repfoduced.

Re: Custom console needed.
I drew one up on a napkin and had my local waterjet guy cut and bend it... Its not finished. In the pics you will see that I didn't bend the front down and its not welded. I wanted to recess the e-brake handle but now I may change the whole design...

Re: Custom console needed.
I built one. Nothing I found for sale was even close to what I wanted. Here's some pics:
Finished Product Also finished out some speaker boxes and side panels for the rear seats too.

Re: Custom console needed.
Here's some details:
I wanted a full length console. Had to have some storage, at least two cup holders, and be home to (2) 6.5" speakers up by the firewall. Also, I don't like consoles that have hinged lids because the lid gets in the way when it's opened. I went with a sliding top on the storage compartment. Here's some of the preliminary sketches. Construction Pics. I rounded all the edges to get a better fit with the vinyl. I put a 1/16" butyl rubber pad under the vinyl. This is not only for padding and protection of the vinyl, but also for moisture protection for the MDF used to construct it. The bottom side got a coat of rubberized truck undercoating before the butyl rubber went on. No bare wood is touching the floor so it should be well protected from water. Here's the back of the sliding top. I used a PERKO boat latch with lock to make the storage area secure. I'm eventually going to move this to one to the front for easier access to the lock, and either plug this hole or just install another latch and leave this one as-is. Here's a shot of the butyl rubber pad before vinyl install. The section are made so that there are no exposed screws. Every connection is hidden.
