Without pictures we don't believe you have the truck!
(Not really, just trying to motivate you) Welcome, what are your plans for it?

Re: New here with our 49 5 window
Thanks for the welcome.
My wife took this on the way home in the rain storms. Stopped to get burgers at in-n-out. Still on the trailer been raining/storming the last 2 days. Plans??? still doing all my homework, but thinking of going with a clip either Nova or Malibu. Want disc breaks before I let my kids drive it. Currently has an Impala rear posi rear end and getting a Turbo 400 and a 238 six from the seller later this week (came with the truck). I will get more pics tomorrow when I get it off the trailer. |

Re: New here with our 49 5 window
Grill and fenders are off and will be taking the bed and front off this week. Looking to do a sub frame. Any suggestions on what yr./ model I should look for? |

Re: New here with our 49 5 window
When you take the bed off pay attention to how it is supported. It looks a little tilted compared to the cab, hopefully just poor temporary attachment and not a frame or cab support issue. Does look like a good one to start with.
