My power steering box install on a 61
In searching for pics on installing power steering on a 60-62 frame I couldn't find any pictures, so I thought I would share a few from today on my 61.
I got a REZ bracket, didn't need the second plate, Like I've read these are designed for 63-6. After bolting it to the frame, the first thing is the lower rear hole needed elongated a bit inside and out. |

Drilling the upper front steering box hole requires a notch in the back of the frame

I cut the top rear bolt down and welded it to create a stud.
Drilled the two holes out on the steering box for the studs to fit through. Box fit right on. At the top on the back I welded the back of the stud and the plate to the frame, probably a little over kill, but thought there may be potential flex. |

Thanks for the pics. Looks great. Any plans on painting the frame? My 66 came from Norfolk. Talk about the rust! Good luck.
