size matters
I am in the final stages of my 56 stepside. I have a fatman mustang ll with dropped spindles and a TCI rear leaf kit. I am looking at tires and rims, does anybody have this combo and what are you using on the front? I'm hoping for 235/55/17 on a 8" rim Thoughts?

Re: size matters
Not apples to apples because I used a Firebird clip w/ narrowed control arms, but since there's no other food for thought, I used a 215x60x17 on a 7" wheel with neutral offset. At my ride ht,, it is the tallest, widest combo I could but under the truck and still have a turning radius of less than 40 acres. You can look at the stance of mine and maybe make some judgment calls.

Re: size matters
31x16.5x17 Hoosiers on 14" Welds w/4" backspace. Started out at 2" but by the time the cuts were tuned up, it's more like 2 1/4" I think. That's more than most guys do, but I like it.
