67-72 C10 lsx swap header questions, of course.

Hey guys, I know there are tons of posts for different header swaps for c10 ls motor, I'm just trying to find and answer to one.

I've got a 69 c10 with 5.3 and I've looked all over but have really seen any answers about if 4th gen F-body pacesetter headers will fit 67-72 c10 pretty good?
I know they won't perfect but I wouldn't care to grind a little frame or mount or something, just want to know if it's worth it...

I found some used ones pretty cheap and was thinking about trying them, just want to see if anybody has ever tried them or running them. If they don't I'll get some TBSS pacesetters cause I've seen ppl with them.

Any help and pics is greatly appreciated!! Thanks guys!

It's not either header but I used Doug thorleys and didn't have to modify anything

I'm about to go down this same road. Lookin for a takeout lq4, I know alot of people have used thorleys, tbss, and +'10 Camaro manifolds. There's a lsx swap sub forum under engine and drive train. See what people there say, or there'll be a thread similar to yours that may answer your question.

I'm sure you will have to make some modifications, I just don't know how much. I just bought the Hooker cast iron headers and they fit great with no mods...

Leon, the Hooker's look pretty nice. I will be looking for headers for my LS3 swap as well. Don't want to highjack here, but what did you do for O2 sensor install? Any pictures of your exhaust, or build thread showing details?

I just bolted them on yesterday. My exhaust guy is going to put the sensors in the head pipes he is fabbing up. No build thread but there are a couple of pics on the 2nd page of my thread in the LSx Swaps Forum here.
