suggestions on what oil pan to use

I have my engine now I'm sourcing for parts next thing is what is the best oil pan to replace the truck pan with and do I need to replace the oil pick as well any other info is appreciated

Depends on where exactly your engine sits, and how low your truck is. Usually the LH8 pan is an affordable solution for truck swaps. The fbody pans, and many of the aftermarket solutions also work.

The truck pan itself will work on tall trucks, but it hangs below the crossmember, and some folks have clearance issues with said crossmember being VERY close to the front of the pan.

It is dropped 2.5 in the front
