Baddest MOFO production truck
I touched it today!! The baddest MOFO factory build truck to date! Yes, I saw a SRT-10 Viper powered Dodge Ram truck today. I went to the dealer to find a part for my Dakota and walked right by it. I noticed it was different because of the wing on the tailgate but I did not pay attention until I was heading back to my truck from the parts counter. It was black. If it was red like the pictures I've seen I would have stopped to look at it. That thing is awsome!!! If it was not raining I would have asked for a test drive. Yea, sure they would let me drive it. If I had 49,456.00 CASH!! The truck costs $22,000 and the other stuff is nothing but options!! That adds up to a lot $$$$$. I looked at the rear suspension. Would you know it, they have a leaf spring that works like my traction bars. I bet it is to reduce wheel hop!!
I had goose bumps just looking at it. If it was not for the rain, who knows what could be parked in my garage. :p Chevy sure does need a lesson in trucks. There is a new street performance truck king and its BAD A$$. |

Yeah its sweet for a dodge, but a reguler cab, supercharged, 2wd, 496BB chevy with the T56 would de-throne it.

Gerardo I'm with ya buddy. I have been at the Dodge dealer a couple of times lately. I talked to the GM at one dealer and he had two in their seperate covered viewing section where they keep the Vipers. Both of them said SOLD, but he told me I could have one if I wanted. Most dealers are asking sticker plus. I told him I never pay over invoice. He winked and said lets go in my office. I passed! My wife would chit a golden brick if I brought another truck home.
I'm trying to persuade her to let me sell the Harley F-150 and get one, but it hasn't worked yet....

F-yeah...I'd like to have one as well!!!
That truck, along with the HD F-150 and Lightning are welcome on my household any day of the week! I could care less if it is a Ford, Dodge, etc...they are damn nice, powerful, and good looking trucks...better than anything GM has done since the Typhoon/Syclone! (10+ years ago!) GM needs to go back to school and take some notes!

My wife drives a '03 Dodge Crew Cab with the Hemi and it's got alot of pep. I couldn't imagine it with a Viper motor in it.
Still nice to have two trucks with 300+HP in the driveway though

I'll give it props for what it is, the fastest production truck around that has 500hp and torque. But its still a chrysler, which shares so much stuff with mitsubishi. I wouldn't own it even if I did have the money. For $45,000-$50,000 youd be seeing a really nice twin turbo 478cid BB FI 78 chevy on the board more often

If I had $15000 I would put SRT-10 Viper motor in my truck. The engine and harness are easy to come by. Add the tranny and this Chevy would be smoking!!! It's only a matter of time before someone tries it. I need to play the lotto more.

Just as I thouht!! The video is bogus!!! Checkout the light tree!! The tree does not light up on the SRT-10 side until after the green is already on the Lighting. Only the Lighting got a full stage tree. Fix the tree and let them go at it. The SRT-10 does have a weight disadvantage but the Viper engiine should handle it.

I'd still rather have a Syclone or Typhoon.
I know too many Dodge guys having issues with the NBS'. |

Dodges looked pretty nice at one point in time, but when they went to the stupid big grille I started disliking them. The only thing I would give that "truck" credit for is the power, like gchem said, put the motor in one of these trucks then you will really have something!
