Never thought about gas tank. This is somewhat new to me. Let me look into this. The tank should be nice since this was a daily driver.

Re: parting out 1973 gmc

You have the tail lens set listed for $30.00 and side marker lens set listed for $15.00 that totals $ 45.00 with my math. Was trying to get 5 bucks off not spend 5 more LOL !

Sorry, I look like the parts Nazi you say this I raise it LOL
So let's get it straight. You want the 2 rear tail lights and the side marker lights correct. Not the front turn signals.

Re: parting out 1973 gmc

Yes. That is correct . I only want the tail lenses & the front side marker lenses. Not the turn signal lenses. Send me your pay-pal or I can send you a money order. Thanks ! Donny

Re: parting out 1973 gmc

As of now the post is closed.
I am going to tear the truck up and get parts photographed and listed for better service.
At the time I am going forward with the dash pad, and a possible gas tank( when I pull) and straps. Yes, and of course the tail lights and side marker lights.
All other inquires are void.
Thank you ALL. I will be back soon.

Yep... some people are so intent on parting the vehicle out, they won't consider selling it whole. Once I ask about ALL the parts, they understand. I've bought a couple that way. I have a 73 that I want to redo, but need a good like year parts truck before I start, that is why I am so interested in this one. Its only 2 hrs from me and I will be on thursday with an empty rollback and would love to pick it up while I am there. Plus buying it whole, the owner doesn't have to pull and package the parts.

Re: parting out 1973 gmc

I understand the reasoning for parting a truck out as they are worth more in pieces when it isn't a truck that will be going back on the road

True, but the seller won't even price me all the 'parts'. I am not expecting to buy it at a 'complete' price, but a 'parts' price, hence is why I asked for prices on all the parts.
