65 Exhaust Manifold Fitment
I got a 327 bored to 355 from a 68 chevelle, putting that in my 65 chevy C10. I am wondering which exhaust manifolds will have the best fit and clearance? Collecting in the middle going straight down? Middle sweep back? Or Collecting in the rear and sweeping back. From what I can tell Collecting in the middle going straight down will fit best. It is a manual transmission so there is clutch and shift linkage.

Hard to beat the original set-up IMO.

I was considering something along these lines for my 62. They have several different types and price levels, but the key point is, instead of being only 2" inside diameter, these are 2 1/2" inner diameter and seem to be pretty well built. These seem to me like they will be the least amount of headache (from what I've been researching on here anyway). |
