Thanks, but I am reusing the 99 4l80e. Just let me know where to send the check! I really mean that. I have more questions that I am sure you could answer or provide diagrams for. I'm really not as stupid as I seem. I troubleshoot hvac controls on a daily basis, and I try to search for the info online prior to asking.

I kid you not, I've not accomplished a darn thing today except give myself a headache and raise my blood pressure. I put the whole pnp/nss on hold and began to wire in the gmlan serial data wire to the obd2. Only to find the following. I am going off 09 express ecm and tcm pinouts I found on gm upfitter, using a 09 express harness. The tcm has gmlan (+)(-) on pins 6/7,15/19 and 37/38. 6/15 and 7/19 are jumpered together. 37/38 go to the ecm x1-27/28.

I know your not stupid, You going by Circuit Numbers tells me you have experience in wiring & reading diagrams.

Give me a few minutes, I guess you want the GMLAN diagrams first...Then we will concentrate on the NBSS wiring?

Re: 99 K2500 CCSB LY6 Swap

Well I made over that hurdle, now on to the next. Believe it or not I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel. All that I can say is that, I sure hope that's it is worth all the trouble when I am done. I am sure that it will. The one good thing about this is that my next project will be much easier after tackling this one. I have a 78 C10 shortbed 2wd that I plan to do the same thing with.
Clinebarger, thank you once again for sharing your tech library and knowledge.

Re: 99 K2500 CCSB LY6 Swap

Slowly making progress. I am getting closer it firing it up. I have heard if some 6.0 injectors leaking by when the engine is not running causing major damage. Wondering if I should pull them and test them. Also, I found out that my local library has Chilton's library available. I wish I would have found this sooner. Doesn't have all info, but a lot.

Re: 99 K2500 CCSB LY6 Swap

Truck is finally up and running. I've still got to get the A/C, speedometer, tach and fuel gauges working yet. Can anyone confirm this for me, I am using a ls3/ ac delco 213-4222 maf will it hurt the engine to drive it prior to getting my ECM tuned for it?

Re: 99 K2500 CCSB LY6 Swap

I did not end up using the ls3 maf. Although the only codes I got after starting it were p0101 and p0102. I found out that the express van harness maf connector is pinned differently than the truck maf. After changing them no more fault codes. It doesn't have the power I expected, but I am hoping it has to do with the ECM having a express van tune on it. I am getting ready to get a tune from Justin at Black Bear performance.
